Create A Collage for Facebook

Create A Collage For Facebook: If you have a Facebook page, you might want to custom-made style the Cover picture. Picasa's collage device is a great means to do this. If you are a Geeks on Excursion participant, we recently made a total 'Short Program' on using the collage device. This idea is taking just one piece of that program and also making it openly offered for all.

Facebook Cover Picture's Size

The secret to making a Facebook Timeline cover image is the measurements. Or, much more specifically the proportion of the size to width, referred to as the Aspect Ratio. A bit of study shows up that Facebook's suitable proportion is 851X315. Not sure why it's 851-- that appears a little bit odd to me. 850X315 functions penalty.

To complete this with Picasa, you have to establish a customized aspect proportion. On either the Plant dimensions drop-down box, or the page Format drop-down box, you'll see the ability to 'Add Custom Facet Proportion' below the checklist. Choose that as well as just go into 850X315. See a previous idea: Resizing a Photo's Elevation and Width.

Steps for a Collage to be a Facebook cover photo

-The appropriate aspect ratio for a Facebook cover photo is 850X315 (see guide video: Resizing Images to size and also elevation) Use the page layout readying to transform to that proportion.

-Re-crop the background picture to the 850/315 ratio as well.

-Reduce and relocate 3 little photos to lower right in order to make room for your profile photo (character) in Facebook

-Produce collage, after that Export results. Select 850 as the export size (this is not called for, Facebook will resize as long as the percentages are right.).

-Log into facebook and float over your cover picture, click where it claims 'Change Cover' and Publish the exported collage.

-Save Changes.
